The OU Baptist Student Union (BSU, or sometimes called "BCM") is a registered student organization at the University of Oklahoma that exists to help college students connect with God and other believers. Actually, we want to help you on your spiritual journey no matter what you do or don't know about Jesus or the Bible.
This is one of our most frequently heard statements from students. Yes, we are Baptist, Southern Baptist to be exact. HOWEVER, you do not have to be Baptist to come to any of our events. In fact, many of our students come from a variety of denominational backgrounds. Even if you don't know what you believe or are just seeking more information about that "Jesus person"....we want to help you discover more!
One great thing about our ministry is we try to offer a variety of things for you to try. We have large group meetings, small groups, and even one-on-one mentoring by older students. We believe that college is one of the most important stages in life, and we try to help you address these issues while you attend OU.
